We Are Now Offering Curbside Holds Pickup
All library materials distributed have either undergone a quarantine period or been disinfected to help prevent possible exposure of germs. We have also established low or no-contact delivery methods for materials to reduce the risk of exposure.
Holds Pick-Up Hours
Closed Sat & Sun
When you are notified that your holds are available, please call the Library at 319.377.3412 to arrange a time for pickup.
- As the state begins a reopening process, your library staff is working hard on a phased approach to reopening and providing in-person services. This includes retrofitting our spaces to meet social distancing guidelines, ensuring we have the necessary personal protective equipment, sanitizing supplies, and procedures in place for your protection, and preparing for low and no-contact service models. We are learning from our peers across the state and the country to share best practices and ensure safety for our patrons and our staff.
- We are working closely with local public health officials and our Metro Library Network partners in Hiawatha and Cedar Rapids on a careful phased reopening plan to ensure we are following all possible safety procedures and guidelines. We will share more information with you as soon as possible.
- While our building remains closed, our “Think Outside the Book” webpage is always open. You can access many and varied resources on that webpage.
- We have moved our programs for all ages to our social media platforms. Follow us on Facebook or YouTube and stay updated on our online calendar.
