Literacy Kiosk here throughout April

A Short Story Dispenser has been making a tour of Iowa libraries before it returns to its home at the University of Iowa. Marion Public Library will serve as the last stop on the literacy kiosk’s “Creative Corridor” tour. The kiosk will be hosted at MPL throughout the month of April.

Users can choose the timeframe they’d like to read (anywhere from 1-5 minutes) and then a free short story or poem will print out on eco-friendly paper for them to enjoy. The dispenser is located at the front of the library, near the self checkout area.

Users are invited to tweet images of themselves using the kiosk and to tag the University of Iowa Libraries and UNESCO City of Literature.
