Programs listed on this page are for middle schoolers and/or high schoolers. We know you're busy, so with the exception of any programs that require registration, all are drop-in programs: come when you can and leave when you want!

every Friday in April, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Learn the basics of movie writing, staging, filming, and editing as we create a short film to advertise our awesome Summer Reading Program. No registration is required to participate, but to be on camera, you will need to have a Photo Release form filled out and signed by a parent or guardian. Stop by the Information Desk or pick one up at the program.

Free pizza at the Marion Library?! Yes, the pizza at this program is free, but you have other things to pay for, too. Are your earnings gone before you really know what happened? Come learn budgeting tips and tricks from the experts. They’ll explain what a budget is and how you put it into practice.

Get your game on at the Marion Public Library! On Saturday, April 28th, drop in between 10am-4pm to play family-friendly board and strategy games. Looking for something more intensive? Register for one of our roleplay game sessions from 12-4pm (ages 11 and up).

Every Tuesday we’ll be traveling the world through the Marion Public Library. Come to Anime Club on the first Tuesday of every month! Join us on the remaining Tuesdays for crafts, food, and special guests.

Gear up for some friendly competition every Wednesday at the Marion Public Library! We've got Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and Minecraft, as well as some awesome board games like SuperFight, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and more. Come ready to play!

Community ConnectionsCommunity Connection

every Thursday, 4:15 - 5:15 p.m.

Get connected to your community with free food and fun! Every Thursday, Marion Cares will bring in a different local club or special guest, like the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Marion Robotics, and more. This weekly program is open to all school-aged youth, including middle and high schoolers.

*Not a drop-in program. Sack lunches will be provided to attendees at the end of the session.
